If anice board isn't possible because of monitoring and program issues, how about an ignore feature on the boards, the same kind of ignore feature we have with quicknotes? That way, we can just put someone on ignore if we felt it necessary. Thanks J-squared, for responding to my post with respect and courtesy. Thank you.
Have a nice day.

well... I am not the admin, and I don't think php language is that advanced... maybe, just maybe it could be done. I made a request several times in various boards i.e the swearing and cursing topic. But well, I now know, these posts are worthless because sometimes people's mines are a stone brain that cannot fit anything else inside. Oh, and if you felt bad, offended, ""get over it"".

Yeah Lou, but, we are free to make suggestions, and that's what this board is suppose to be for. It's not like i'm asking folk to not do it, I'm not infringing on anyone's rights to free speech, but we also have the right to put them on ignore if we can.

Actually, this one's on the to-do.
As far as it being possible with PHP, it's not hard to do. Basically, we'll be adding an option under the ignore to ignore quicknotes, board posts, or both. Then your current list will reflect that. For the board posts, I'm thinking it'll say something like board post from X ignored. That way you know that a post was ignored in case it screws up the flow of the topic.

While your at it do the same thing for private mail. Because even if you shield people on the boards and quick notes those idiots who you can't stand will still bother you via email. And I was thinking for quick access suggesting (did this earlier when I started here as a member.) a buddy list. If you saw what eyes2eyes.com's EPals looks like with their profile feature you have a option to put someone on a buddy list or a ignore list. Buddy lists would be just a convient way of remembering that person's username and quick access to sending them email, seeing their profile etc. Just a thought.

Another one on the list. What's the point of ignoring PM's? You don't have to open the message and you can just click delete. Just asking.

Iv'e been igfnoring CG for months to no avail
which proves it doesn't always work with some people
excuse the pun they just dont get the message.

True, thats what I do for the ignoreing on my PM Box. But there are some people who don't really have a brain to remember and thats something I thought would be benificial to those who just can't remember to just delete that person's message instead of deleteing it.

Gobblin. As I've said before... Do not bring personal attacks into this board. Repeatedly doing this will get you banned. There are boards where this is allowed, if you must.
